So, my Gla is over. I like to send out public announcements if I think they will be helpful and I think everyone can learn from this one. Telling someone that you are sick of him being a complete grouch and that you’re not in the habit of having to teach someone how to be nice is probably not a good idea. Especially if you’re about 4 or 5 drinks into the evening.
There’s a lot more to it than that, but suffice it to say that after the last week of complete turmoil over whether I was staying or going home, combined with my canceling our trip to the Philippines, my Gla met an early demise. I’ll spare you the details and drama, but I am disappointed – especially since my STs are leaving me in two days. Maybe I should have thought this through a bit better.
