Ode to Joe

1-13-06

In Memory of Joe’s –

My Joes were good jeans. The kind of jeans you could take to a party or a ball game (if one were so inclined). For some months, Joes dutifully served my derrière. Until this tragic day when Joe’s premature aging led to a premature death and shocking draft on my behind. I will continue to hold their memory close and hope for the day when I am united with a brethren pair of jeans.

In other news, I took the world’s largest outdoor escalator today to Soho. Don’t be fooled – Soho is short for south of Hollywood, not Houston. Honestly, though, if it weren’t for the exceptionally steep hills in Hong Kong Soho, I don’t think you could tell the difference between NYC and HK Soho. Especially since both are filled with a bunch of Whiteys.

For those that know Kevin, his day was FAR less fun than mine. He’s not feeling particularly well and spent the night in a hospital room with 15 incredibly sick Chinese men. He’ll be fine, but today was not a good day for Kevin.
