I journeyed to the famous Hong Kong horse races tonight. Kevin predicted Meg and I would lose interest after the fifth race. He was completely right! I did win a race though. I bet on Horse 3, who I picked based on name but whose name I quickly forgot, and won 24 HKD. I only bet 10, so it was a decent return. Yes, I bet another 30 HKD before I won. All in all, I bet roughly 4 USD and earned 3 of it back. I did spend 7 on dinner though.

In other news, I braved a visit to a Hong Kong hairstylist. I’ll let you know what I think after I style it myself. Right now, I’m undecided.

Nothing interesting to report on the food front, but I’m heading to Thailand in a few hours, so hopefully some exciting food adventures lie ahead!
